Cycle Smithy World Tour 2008...continues.
Just a quick note to our fans, we will be at the 2008 Bike The Drive, fixing bikes and making fun of your dorky riding outfits (you know who you are). Please stop by and see us, or should I say, please stop by so we can see you. If you need a quick fix, a last minute massage or perhaps some relationship advice, we'll be on hand to help you out. You can find us at the Central Festival Area on Columbus
between Monroe and Jackson (along the west side of Butler Field). Look for our Cycle Smithy banner.
Nice to meet you, come by our shop.
Hola Folks, thanks for visiting our website. If you haven't visited our site in a while, you have obviously noticed a new look and feel to the place, that's very observant of you and we obviously appreciate it. Along with updating our website and becoming better citizens of the World in general, we are also getting out and about to press the flesh and remind people why we're the coolest shop in the city. I know what you're thinking, "These guys are full of crap!". OK, so maybe just a little. But remember what Oprah says, "You can't love someone, until you learn to love yourself." So we are deep in the process of loving ourselves right now and I have to say, it feels really good, almost too good, so I think I'm going to stop now before someone catches me. Here are some photos from our latest outing, our trip to Manifest, the Columbia College end of year Festival. We displayed some old bikes and made some new friends, we may even sign up for some classes, enjoy!
College Bound!
Cycle Smithy is taking part in the 2008 Columbia College Manifest Festival today, you can find us in the parking lot at Harrison and Wabash between the hours of 11am and 6pm. We'll be displaying some of our owner's antique bicycles, some dating back to the turn of the century, the other century, not the new century. We'll also be trying hard to corrupt any college kids we may encounter, think Will Ferrell in Old School, so come down and check us out and bring us something to eat, we like food.
